Last time we talked about why having a massive list of interesting links is a bad idea when you’re selling on your site. People are going to click them, and then they go away and likely never come back. But you still want to promote your friends’ shows and classes around the country and other cool things around the world wide web. So how do you do it?
Two ways that I can think of:
1) write about them on a blog page separate from the sales site.
2) write about them in your newsletter.
Both these options allow you to include a link and write about the site if you choose. So, the link gets a more important platform (which means more people will click on it) and you don’t lose customers from your site. Win-Win.
